The age of information is over. In the future, knowledge-based jobs will be taken over by machines. Humans will take care of the tasks which machines cannot learn. As a result, you require skills such as empathy, teamwork, leadership and creativity. However, these traits are not taught in classrooms and lectures. They are acquired through experience and schools and universities must prepare for this. The school of the future provides an environment in which the students can gather experience independently. They shall be supported by AI which challenges each student individually and factors in their strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, mentors are preferred, which provide structure and clues, rather than teachers.
